According to data from the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), 54,475 Brazilian visitors were recorded last year, compared with 40,277 in 2024 and 37,750 in 2023. This figure exceeds pre-Covid-19 levels, as 47,113 Brazilian tourists visited the Kingdom in 2019.
This positive momentum is mainly attributed to the resumption of the direct Casablanca–São Paulo air route, which has been reinstated for more than a year and is operated by Royal Air Maroc with four weekly flights.
The upward trend was also confirmed at the end of the year. In December 2025, Morocco welcomed 4,496 Brazilian tourists, representing an increase of 14 percent compared with the same month in 2023, which recorded 3,941 visitors.
In terms of overnight stays in classified tourist accommodation establishments, the Brazilian market totaled 84,228 overnight stays in 2025, compared with 57,423 the previous year, marking a significant rise of 47 percent.
At the overall level, Morocco welcomed 19.8 million tourists in 2025, up 14 percent compared with 2024. This unprecedented level brings the Kingdom closer, for the first time, to the symbolic threshold of 20 million visitors, confirming the strength of the recovery and the lasting position of tourism as a key pillar of the national economy.
