The Morocco Pavilion at ITB 2026 was inaugurated by the Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), Achraf Fayda, in the presence of the Ambassador of Morocco to Germany, Ms. Zohour Alaoui, as well as several Moroccan tourism professionals and operators.
Through this space, one of the largest at the fair with an area exceeding 1,000 square meters, Morocco, a crossroads between Africa and Europe, aims to strengthen its presence among the leading destinations in the Mediterranean area, while consolidating its status as Africa’s top tourist destination.
Unlike previous editions, which highlighted a single region, Morocco is showcasing three destinations at the 2026 edition of ITB: Agadir, Fez and Saïdia, with the objective of promoting the diversity of the national tourism offering and reinforcing the integration of all regions of the Kingdom into international markets.
Over the three days of the fair, the Moroccan delegation, bringing together regional representatives, tour operators, hoteliers and other professionals and institutional stakeholders from the travel industry, including Royal Air Maroc (RAM), will hold numerous meetings with international sector players to promote its offerings and develop new partnerships.
Faithful to this annual event, Morocco continues, through its participation in ITB Berlin, its efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s visibility in key source markets and to build on the international momentum enjoyed by the Morocco destination.
Held under the theme “Discover the behind-the-scenes of 60 years of legacy,” the 2026 edition of ITB brings together nearly 6,000 exhibitors from more than 160 countries, confirming its status as a global platform for dialogue, business exchanges and strategic reflection on the future of tourism.
ITB 2026 highlights innovation, technology and new economic models, with a strong focus on digital solutions, artificial intelligence, new payment and distribution systems, as well as innovative hospitality models.
Alongside the fair, the conference program (ITB Berlin Convention), organized under the slogan “balanced tourism,” will gather more than 400 international experts around 17 thematic tracks and over 200 sessions dedicated to the major challenges facing the sector, including sustainability, climate change, geopolitical shifts and artificial intelligence.
