The Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Zambia reaffirmed on Thursday their shared determination to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, in line with the vision and commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the President of the Republic of Zambia, Hakainde Hichilema.
This commitment was expressed during talks held in Rabat between Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, and Mulambo Haimbe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Zambia, who is currently on a working visit to Morocco.
Welcoming the growing momentum of Moroccan-Zambian relations and the common ambition to elevate the bilateral partnership to a more ambitious and mutually beneficial level, the two ministers identified several high-potential sectors for future cooperation.
These areas are expected to be further developed within the framework of the upcoming Joint Commission and future cooperation projects, particularly in the sectors of energy and mining, sustainable development, education and scholarships, scientific research and innovation, healthcare, and social protection.
