With just days to go before the highly anticipated clash between Morocco and Canada, a remarkable wave of passion is set to sweep across the highways of Texas. On Friday, July 3, hundreds of Moroccan supporters will take part in a major car rally from the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area to Houston, united in their mission to cheer on the Atlas Lions in an atmosphere of celebration, brotherhood, and national pride.
The convoy will depart at 8:00 a.m. from the iconic Buc-ee’s, located at 15901 N Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas. After enjoying breakfast together, participants will head south toward Houston, with a scheduled stop near Madisonville to refuel, grab refreshments, and regroup before continuing their journey.
Upon arriving in Houston and checking into their respective hotels, supporters will gather once again at 6:00 p.m. to join the city’s official convoy and supporters’ parade. The procession promises to be a spectacular display of Moroccan pride, with national flags, patriotic chants, and celebratory car horns filling the streets as the community comes together behind its national team.
The festivities will continue that evening with a community gathering organized by Moroccans in Houston, offering fans from across Texas an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and build excitement ahead of this crucial match.
On match day, supporters will also gather at the official Fan Zone, located at 2301 Dallas Street, Houston, Texas 77003, where an electric atmosphere is expected as fans rally behind Walid Regragui’s men.
More than just a road trip, this rally represents the deep bond between the Moroccan diaspora and their homeland. It reflects the extraordinary passion that follows the Atlas Lions wherever they compete. Organizers are encouraging all participants to drive safely, obey traffic laws, and continue to uphold the outstanding reputation of Moroccan supporters.
Houston is preparing to shine in the colors of Morocco. More than a journey, this rally will stand as a powerful celebration of unity, pride, solidarity, and unwavering love for the Atlas Lions.
