Strengthening military cooperation: the United States and Morocco united for regional security
The United States Embassy in Morocco highlighted, through an official publication, the strength and growing momentum of the military partnership between Washington and Rabat. This communication came on the occasion of the visit to the Kingdom by Bryan J. Ellis, the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs.

During his trip, the American official visited the Benguérir air base, a strategic site of the Royal Armed Forces, where he held discussions with Moroccan military officials. The talks focused on shared security priorities, the challenges of regional stability, and ways to further consolidate defense cooperation between the two countries.
This visit illustrates the depth of the Moroccan American strategic partnership, built on a convergence of views on security and on long standing military cooperation. It also confirms Morocco’s central role as a key actor in regional stability and a reliable partner of the United States in North Africa and beyond.
