Morocco 2025, Most Connected Edition in AFCON History (CAF/LOC)
Rabat - The 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) scheduled to take place in Morocco will be the most connected edition in the history of the football tournament, thanks to the launch of an app tailored to improve the fan experience, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) announced on Friday, 100 days before the kick-off of the competition.

The app “Yalla”, a “major innovation,” will be launched on September 25 and will serve as the gateway for all fans, the two bodies said in a press release published on the CAF website.
“Every ticket holder will have to register for a Fan ID through the app, enabling seamless stadium and fan zone access,” the press release says.
“The app will also introduce the E-visa for AFCON, allowing supporters worldwide to apply digitally,” the press release notes, adding that it will provide “real-time updates, tailored information, and exclusive tournament content, making Morocco 2025 the most connected AFCON ever.”
In addition, the same source announces that Royal Air Maroc, the official global partner and airline of AFCON 2025, will support fans with enhanced services.
Over 660 additional flights will be added, increasing capacity by more than 50%, according to the same source, adding that special packages will be available to the African diaspora traveling through Casablanca, turning stopovers into opportunities to attend matches.
