Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency Funds Micro-Projects in the Al-Quds Governorate

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency launched on Monday a series of income-generating micro-projects to support underprivileged families in several villages across the Governorate of the Holy City.

This initiative, supported by the Moroccan Association for Support to Reconstruction in Palestine, covers various sectors including livestock breeding, cheese and dairy production, pastry-making, and the provision of equipment for tailoring, embroidery, beauty care, and wedding services. It also includes the distribution of fully equipped multipurpose kiosks.

On this occasion, Inaam Abuzaiter, Acting Director of General Affairs at the Governorate, noted that these initiatives “fall within the framework of a policy supporting small and micro-projects as a means to strengthen economic and social resilience.”

For his part, Daoud Al-Jahalin, Director of the Civil Peace Department at the Governorate, praised “the fruitful partnership that links the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency with the city’s institutions, both official and civil.”

Beneficiaries unanimously welcomed this initiative, which offers them valuable opportunities to develop productive projects that serve as a real lever for resilience and improved family income.

In this regard, Adil Qatmira, who received event equipment, said that this support “will help me provide for my family of seven. We are deeply grateful to our brothers in Morocco for their sincere support.”

Similarly, Khalida Aouda, who received recreational equipment, stated that “this small project, made possible through the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, will have a significant impact on improving our living conditions.”

Tamam Aouissat, a pastry equipment beneficiary, added that the initiative came at the right time “to support the resilience of Palestinian families amid the difficult economic conditions currently facing the governorate.”
