Morocco’s FM Holds Talks with Egyptian Counterpart in Cairo

Cairo - Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita held talks on Thursday in Cairo with the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdel Aaty.

During this meeting, held on the sidelines of the 164th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of Foreign Ministers, the two ministers reaffirmed the commitment of the two brotherly countries to strengthen their bilateral relations in various fields.

On this occasion, Bourita and Abdel Aaty emphasized a number of regional issues, notably the latest developments regarding the Palestinian question, the efforts of both countries to consolidate joint African action mechanisms, and the role of the African Union in addressing issues related to peace, security and development.
