Hicham Arazi Praises a 40th Edition of the Grand Prix Hassan II Full of Promise for Moroccan Tennis

In an exclusive interview given in Marrakech to Le7tv, with journalist Ahmed Talal, Hicham Arazi, director of the Grand Prix Hassan II, delivered a highly positive assessment of this 40th edition, marked by the emergence of a new generation of Moroccan tennis players.
A former tournament winner in 1997, Arazi said he was proud to see young national talents seize their opportunity on the international stage, particularly through wild cards. This anniversary edition provided several Moroccan prospects with the chance to showcase their potential against top-level players.
The standout performances of Taha Baadi and Karim Bennani, both of whom defeated Top 100 players in the first round, were among the highlights of the tournament. Reda Bennani also impressed with his fighting spirit against a high-caliber opponent, confirming the steady rise of Moroccan tennis.
Beyond the results, Arazi emphasized the importance of the human and collective work carried out with his staff.
