Political Parties Highly Commend Royal Speech at Opening of Parliamentary Session
Rabat - Several political parties have highly praised the speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the opening of the first session of the fifth legislative year of the 11th legislature.
They emphasized that the Royal Speech serves as a clear roadmap to accelerate development efforts aimed at achieving territorial justice, particularly in mountainous areas and oases, for the benefit of citizens.
In this regard, the National Rally of Independents (RNI) highlighted the relevance of the strategic guidelines set out by the Sovereign concerning the issues related to the country’s development.
The party stressed that His Majesty the King underlined the importance of next-generation territorial development programs, which represent major priorities that go beyond the time frame of government action.
In a statement, the RNI added that the government is currently working on incorporating these programs into the 2026 Finance Bill in order to give a real boost to the process of building an emerging and united Morocco.
This will be achieved by enshrining territorial justice with special attention to the most vulnerable areas, notably mountainous regions, oases, and the coastline, through the optimal implementation of sustainable development levers along the national coast.
For its part, the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) expressed deep pride in the strong substance and strategic orientations contained in the Royal Speech, which it described as a clear roadmap for comprehensive national development.
During a communication meeting held Friday in Rabat, Fatima Saâdi, a member of the party’s collegial leadership, stated in an address on behalf of the leadership that His Majesty the King’s guidance on unifying and complementing major programs, strengthening development in mountainous regions, oases, and coastal and emerging rural centers, constitutes strategic pillars of balanced spatial and social justice.
“The party seriously and responsibly adheres to the realization of this Royal Vision of a united and cohesive Morocco, founded on equal opportunities and the fair distribution of development gains,” she noted in her address, as reported by the PAM’s official website.
It called for continued mobilization and vigilance among all party bodies to translate the main lines of the Royal Speech into concrete action.
For its part, the Party for the Environment and Sustainable Development commended the Royal Speech, expressing its full support for all projects and programs launched by His Majesty King Mohammed VI for the country’s all-round development.
The political formation affirmed that social and territorial justice forms the foundation for achieving balanced development in the service of citizens.
