Meeting Between Nasser Bourita and Sergey Lavrov in New York
On the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 80th session of #UNGA80, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, met today in New York with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the two ministers to exchange views on Morocco-Russia bilateral relations, as well as on a number of regional and international issues of common interest on the United Nations agenda.
Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening political dialogue and enhancing multifaceted cooperation between Rabat and Moscow, in a spirit of mutual respect and in the service of regional and international stability.
