Aziz Akhannouch Meets with the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Koshanov
The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, held talks Tuesday in Rabat with the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Koshanov, who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Morocco at the head of an important parliamentary delegation, according to a statement from his Department.

This meeting made it possible to discuss means of developing relations and active solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Kazakhstan, under the leadership of the two Heads of State, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and His Excellency President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Mr. Akhannouch also reviewed the structural reforms and major projects undertaken by the Kingdom under the Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, stressing the government’s commitment, in all its components, to implementing the Royal Vision aimed at accelerating Morocco’s development.
The two parties also welcomed the convergence of views between Morocco and Kazakhstan on issues of common interest and their mutual international support, particularly within the United Nations, while praising the Republic of Kazakhstan’s support for the Kingdom’s territorial integrity and for the autonomy plan as the only viable and serious basis capable of reaching a political solution to the artificial dispute over the Sahara.
This meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening parliamentary cooperation between Morocco and Kazakhstan and further invigorating parliamentary diplomacy in order to serve the political, economic and cultural interests of both countries, the statement concluded.
