“QuandPartir” Magazine: Morocco Among the Best-Connected Countries by Air from France

Morocco ranks among the best-served countries by air from France, according to QuandPartir, a magazine of the French press group Ouest-France.

“Some countries have particularly high air traffic on certain routes,” notes the French media outlet in an online article.

The publication explains that factors such as historical ties, established diasporas, manageable distances suitable for air travel, attractive prices, and significant tourist interest create dense networks between countries, facilitating the travel of millions each year. These networks connect numerous cities via various airlines offering dozens of flights weekly, and sometimes daily.

Consequently, air links between France and Morocco have long been among the top three most important international routes. With nearly as many cities served on both sides of the Mediterranean—around thirty in total—the France-Morocco route has been one of France’s principal international connections for years, now carrying about 9 million passengers annually.

The magazine highlights the wide range of carriers serving the France-Morocco route. Local airlines such as Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Air Arabia Maroc play a key role. Additionally, Air France operates three to four flights daily from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport (Roissy CDG) to Morocco.

Significantly, the rise of low-cost carriers has also contributed to strong traffic between France and Morocco, offering frequent flights at attractive fares. Airlines like easyJet, Transavia, Vueling, Volotea, and notably Ryanair—which has made Morocco a priority market with around forty routes—have strengthened this connectivity.

Overall, QuandPartir emphasizes that Morocco’s air links with France remain among the most dynamic and well-served globally.
