At Al Amal Square, large crowds gathered to enjoy live concerts and admire the spectacular light displays that illuminated the Dakhla sky in a stunning visual celebration.

From the main stage, artists Bouyagui Ould Nevrou, Hatim Ammor, and Asma Lmnawar took the audience on a musical journey blending Moroccan and Mauritanian rhythms, earning long rounds of applause.

Mauritanian singer Bouyagui Ould Nevrou opened the evening with a performance inspired by Hassani heritage. Hatim Ammor followed with his famous hits, enthusiastically sung along by the audience, before delivering the iconic patriotic anthem “Nidaa Al Hassan”—a symbolic song of the Green March—performed in an atmosphere filled with emotion and national pride.

Wearing a refined Moroccan caftan, Asma Lmnawar captivated the audience with a selection of her best-known songs, including “Andou Ezzine Andou Lhamam,” “Mahkama,” and “Safi.” She concluded her set with patriotic melodies that rekindled the spirit of the Green March.

Adding to the festivities, a spectacular drone show lit up the night sky, featuring 420 drones forming the Moroccan flag and the Kingdom’s timeless motto: “God, Homeland, King.” The precisely choreographed performance painted dazzling shapes and patterns across the starry sky, offering a stunning visual experience filled with patriotism, pride, and emotion.

On Friday night, Dakhla also hosted another vibrant concert featuring Najat Aatabou, Nacim Haddad, and Mauritanian singer Mneytou Mint Nevrou, in a warm atmosphere where popular Moroccan music met traditional rhythms, much to the delight of the audience.
