As part of its recognition policy, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) paid tribute to a group of former international players who represented Morocco’s senior national team at different periods and who belong to the Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceïma Regional League. This initiative highlighted their sporting journey and their significant contribution to the development of Moroccan football. The ceremony brought back emotional memories, honoring names that marked different eras of national football and left a lasting legacy among supporters.

The honored players visited the national team camp in Tangier on Sunday, November 16, 2025, where they were warmly welcomed by the current squad and the technical staff. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere defined by respect and mutual appreciation. Both sides exchanged insights about the evolution of Moroccan football, and the current players had the opportunity to learn from the experiences of those who paved the way before them.

This gesture was not limited to symbolic recognition. It also carried a deeper message, reflecting the importance of strengthening bonds between generations and acknowledging those who served the national jersey with dedication and loyalty. The gathering also allowed young athletes to draw inspiration from the values of sacrifice, responsibility and commitment that shaped the careers of their predecessors.

Through this tribute, the FRMF reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of appreciation and supporting initiatives that connect the past to the present, while reinforcing unity and pride within the Moroccan football community.
