Marrakech, world capital of security: Morocco to host the 93rd INTERPOL General Assembly from November 24 to 27
Marrakech is preparing once again to become the epicenter of international cooperation as it hosts the 93rd INTERPOL General Assembly from November 24 to 27, 2025. Nearly 196 security delegations from around the world are expected to gather in the ochre city for this high-level diplomatic and strategic event.
The meeting will officially open on November 24, followed by a series of closed-door sessions gathering police officials, international experts and national delegations to examine the contemporary threats weighing on global security: transnational crime, cybercrime, migrant trafficking, terrorism, and organized criminal networks. Bilateral meetings will also take place on the sidelines of the official program, strengthening cooperation dynamics between states.
For Morocco, hosting such a summit carries significant meaning. It represents renewed international recognition of the Kingdom’s key role in strengthening global security and its active contribution to building an efficient, modern and cooperative policing model.
