CAN 2025: Morocco’s Security Model Earns Admiration from a British Delegation

On the occasion of the CAN 2025 semi-final between Morocco and Nigeria, the British experts were able to witness first-hand the excellence of the security arrangements put in place by the Rabat Police Prefecture. The organisation was praised for its rigor, efficiency and high level of professionalism, reflecting the expertise accumulated by the National Security services in managing large-scale sporting events.

The delegation was particularly impressed by the seamless coordination between security units, real-time digital interconnection among operational teams, and the controlled use of advanced video surveillance technologies. Ahead of the match, the British officials had also visited the African Centre for Security Cooperation in Salé, a flagship of African security innovation.
