Prince Andrew, Brother of King Charles III, Arrested by Police in Epstein Case
Under the weight of new revelations in the Epstein case, Prince Andrew has been arrested on suspicion of "misconduct in public office," and several of his residences are being searched. Simultaneously, police stated they are searching two residences in England apparently linked to the suspicions surrounding Andrew.
Andrew was arrested on the Royal Estate of Sandringham in eastern England, where he had been forced to relocate in early February after leaving his luxurious home in Windsor.
Police had previously indicated they were “assessing” information suggesting that Andrew had transmitted potentially confidential information to Jeffrey Epstein during his time as the United Kingdom’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment between 2001 and 2011.
Among the new compromising documents published in recent weeks are photos of him kneeling and leaning over a reclining woman, as well as emails inviting Epstein to Buckingham Palace to speak “privately.”
These revelations prompted a reaction from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who stated that the Prince should testify before the U.S. Congress regarding what he knows about the financier’s crimes.
