Royal Speech, Call for Collective Responsibility in Pursuit of Inclusive Development, Says Belgian Politician
Brussels - The speech delivered on Friday by HM King Mohammed VI in Parliament is a call for responsibility and mobilization of all the nation's driving forces in the service of harmonious and inclusive development, said former president of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, André Flahaut.
The Royal call to action and commitment is addressed to members of Parliament, the government, and all actors in Moroccan society, with a view to implementing economic and social priorities, and giving substance to the aspirations of Moroccans in various fields, Flahaut told MAP.
“It is a motivating and unifying speech focused on clear priorities in order to meet the needs of citizens and regions, and to guarantee equal access to essential services for all, particularly education and healthcare,” added the former minister of State and minister of Defense.
Flahaut noted that His Majesty the King emphasized in his Speech the solidarity between regions and the need for integrated and balanced territorial development. The Sovereign also stressed the importance of supporting local initiatives and economic activities, creating jobs for young people, and adapting public policies to the specific realities of each region, he said.
“The goal is to promote harmonious development and ensure balanced progress between urban and rural areas,” explained the former president of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives, noting that the Royal Speech is part of a dynamic of national cohesion and inclusive development, placing the higher interests of the nation and its citizens at the forefront of priorities.
