FIFA President Gianni Infantino has praised Morocco’s U20 national team for their exceptional performance after being crowned World Champions for the first time in history in Chile.
In a message posted on Instagram, the FIFA chief described the victory as “a truly historic moment,” extending his heartfelt congratulations to the Moroccan team for this unprecedented achievement.
Infantino also congratulated Argentina for “playing a great final” and Colombia for securing third place in the tournament.
