President of Mauritania Receives Morocco’s Lower House Speaker
Nouakchott - Mauritanian President, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, received, on Friday in Nouakchott, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami.

Speaking to the press following the audience, Talbi El Alami said that he had transmitted the greetings of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, adding that the meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss several important issues.
The hearing took place in the presence of the President of the Mauritanian National Assembly, Mohamed Bamba Meguett, the Minister in charge of the Office of the President of the Republic, Nani Ould Chrougha, and the Moroccan ambassador to Nouakchott, Hamid Chabar.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives is in the Mauritanian capital for the first session of the Mauritania-Morocco Parliamentary and Economic Forum, which kicked off on Friday.
