Morocco and Colombia: An Exemplary Diplomacy in Service of a Strategic Partnership
The relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Colombia continue to grow stronger, driven by a mutual desire for cooperation, respect, and a shared vision for a common future. On Thursday, May 15, 2025, in Rabat, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, held talks with Ms. Marta Lucía Ramírez, former Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia.

This high-level meeting illustrates the excellence of diplomatic ties between the two countries, built on sincere friendship and a convergence of views on numerous regional and international issues. It also reflects the growing recognition of Morocco’s strategic role in Africa and the Arab world, as well as Colombia’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships with nations of the Global South.
Ms. Ramírez, a respected figure in Colombian diplomacy, praised the structural reforms undertaken under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, while expressing her admiration for the Kingdom’s stability and economic dynamism.
