Under High Royal Instructions, Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity Launches 13 New Centers Across Morocco

Rabat - His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, President of the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, has given His High Instructions to ensure that the centers established by the Foundation in the areas of healthcare, disability support, and vocational training are made accessible to the underprivileged populations they are meant to benefit.

The immediate rollout involves 13 new centers whose construction and equipment have been completed across eight prefectures and provinces of the Kingdom, the Foundation said in a statement. These facilities are part of the Foundation’s major intervention programs aimed at strengthening access to local healthcare, improving care for people with disabilities, and supporting the training and socio-professional integration of young people.

These projects fall under three main programs: The Proximity Medical Centers – Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity (CMPs), the Mohammed VI National Center for the Disabled (CNMH) network, and the national program to combat addictive behaviors, the same source added.

Specifically, a new CMP will open in Salé, with an investment of MAD 85.5 million, bringing the number of operational units to six out of the twelve planned nationwide.

In the area of disability, a new regional branch of the CNMH will open in Beni Mellal, with an investment of MAD 30 million, raising the total number of centers in this network to nine across the country.

The city of El Aroui will benefit from a new hemodialysis center, costing MAD 10 million. The facility will complement the services of the neighboring Mohammed VI Hospital and improve care for patients with kidney failure.

The fight against addictive behaviors is also progressing, with the launch of three new centers in Chefchaouen (MAD 6.5 million), Al Hoceima (MAD 6.5 million), and Beni Mellal (MAD 4.5 million). These additions will bring the total number of operational addiction treatment centers to 18, covering 15 cities nationwide.

In parallel, six new vocational training centers are set to open, targeting high-potential sectors aligned with labor market demands. These include the Metalwork and Welding Training Center in Tit Mellil (MAD 94 million), the Agricultural Vocational Training Center in Souk El Arbaa (MAD 34 million), the Electricity and Electronics Training Center in Sidi Othmane, Casablanca (MAD 32.5 million), the Services Sector Training Center in Oasis, Casablanca (MAD 25 million), the Tourism Training Center in Chefchaouen (MAD 15.2 million), and the Handicrafts Training Center in Chefchaouen (MAD 9.4 million).

These facilities aim to provide young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with practical skills in sectors offering strong employment prospects.

Additionally, a new socio-educational center will open in Izemouren (MAD 3.5 million), the first of its kind in this locality in Al Hoceima province. It is designed to support youth in areas of education and vocational orientation.

The management of these various centers will be carried out—depending on their areas of focus—by the Foundation’s partners, including the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, the State Secretariat in charge of Handicrafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, the Office for Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT), as well as specialized associations.

With the opening of these new facilities, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity continues to further its mission of improving access to healthcare, training, and support for vulnerable populations—placing proximity and solidarity at the core of its action.
