Morocco’s Arryadia Issues Clarification on CAF Broadcast Controversy
Morocco’s sports channel Arryadia clarifies that it had no editorial involvement in the controversial promotional segment aired during the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations broadcast, placing full responsibility on CAF, which has since issued an apology.

Arryadia, Morocco’s national sports channel, has issued a formal statement in response to viewer concerns, concerns that were raised regarding a promotional clip that aired during CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations coverage.
The channel clarified that the content was part of CAF’s international broadcast signal, which is transmitted exactly as received to all stations broadcasting the event. Arryadia stated that it has no authority to alter or edit the direct feed provided by the tournament organizers.
CAF has since issued a formal apology to Morocco’s National Broadcasting Corporation (SNRT), acknowledging full responsibility for the incident. The confederation also pledged to revise the promotional content and ensure that similar errors do not occur in future broadcasts.
