Mexican Business Coordination Council Reaffirms Support for Morocco’s Territorial Integrity

The President of the Mexican Business Coordination Council (CCE), the country’s most prominent employers’ organization, Francisco Cervantes Diaz, has reaffirmed the CCE’s support for Morocco’s territorial integrity.

During a meeting in Mexico City with a delegation from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), led by its president Chakib Alj on a visit to Mexico from September 22 to 25, Mr. Cervantes Diaz expressed his support and solidarity with the Kingdom’s territorial integrity.

As a leading economic actor in Latin America, Mr. Cervantes Diaz also called for strengthening relations between Mexico and Morocco, particularly in the economic field.

At the meeting, which was also attended by Morocco’s ambassador to Mexico, Abdelfattah Lebbar, the head of the CCE highlighted Morocco’s considerable assets, noting that the Kingdom is Mexico’s second-largest trading partner in Africa.

Last February, the Mexican Business Coordination Council had already expressed its “support and solidarity with the territorial integrity of Morocco” and its willingness to work together to develop bilateral trade relations.
