Football: National Coach Walid Regragui to Hold Press Conference Thursday in Salé
The head coach of Morocco’s senior national football team, Walid Regragui, will hold a press conference next Thursday in Salé to announce the list of players selected for the upcoming friendly match against Bahrain and the World Cup 2026 African qualifiers (Group E) match against Congo.
The press briefing will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) said.
Morocco’s national team will face Bahrain in a friendly on October 9 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat (8:00 p.m.).
On the final day of the African World Cup qualifiers (Group E), the Atlas Lions will meet Congo on October 14, also at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
The Atlas Lions have already secured their spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after defeating Niger 5–0 on September 5 in the 7th round of the African qualifiers.
