CGEM, MEDEF to Hold Morocco-France Economic Forum on October 9 in Dakhla
Casablanca - The General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the Movement of French Enterprises (MEDEF), through the France-Morocco Business Leaders Club, are organizing a high-level Morocco–France Economic Forum on October 9, 2025, in Dakhla.

This event follows the State visit made, at the invitation of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, by the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, during which the latter affirmed that the present and future of the Sahara lie within the framework of Moroccan sovereignty, according to a joint statement by CGEM and MEDEF.
The forum also aims to further strengthen the already strong economic and trade relations between Morocco and France, the same source added.
The choice of Dakhla carries both strategic and economic significance. The region stands as a showcase for the dynamism and economic potential of the Kingdom of Morocco, as reflected in its major investments and regional and continental openness.
For French entrepreneurs, this gathering will offer an opportunity to explore an emerging market that combines national attractiveness with a bridge between Europe and Africa.
This high-level forum seeks to strengthen existing partnerships, identify new synergies, and consolidate cooperation between the French and Moroccan business communities.
It will also enable business leaders from both countries to jointly explore opportunities in strategic sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure and logistics, sustainable tourism and hospitality, agribusiness and food security, innovative services and digital technologies, as well as training and skills development.
This event is part of a long-term dynamic driven by CGEM and MEDEF. In April 2024, a business forum held in Rabat brought together more than 300 French and Moroccan entrepreneurs and resulted in the establishment of a white paper serving as a true roadmap for entrepreneurial cooperation.
