The Nocturnal Races by ÇAMARCHE: Challenge Conquered in the Heart of the Habous!
Casablanca by night, like never before! The Saturday night fever took over the Habous! Sports, heritage, solidarity, and national pride all came together for an unforgettable evening.
The Nocturnal Races by ÇAMARCHE lived up to their promise—making the heart of the White City beat to the rhythm of an energetic, festive, and socially engaged race.
More than 410 runners and walkers took off on November 1, 2025, for 5 kilometers of pure sporting joy through the legendary Habous district, under the city lights, driven by emotion, solidarity, and national euphoria following a historic Royal speech.
Before the race began, the flawless coordination of the local authorities—namely the 2 Mars and Habous districts—ensured smooth organization, safety, cleanliness, and order, all highlighted by the district’s timeless charm. The starting point at Parc Murdoch, arranged to the highest standards thanks to Casa Baia, set the tone for an elegant and well-prepared event.
The warm-up, led with fiery energy by the dynamic Salma Ouaddahi from Rise Athletics Studio, ignited an atmosphere that was lively, inclusive, and full of spirit.
Dedicated to supporting children with leukemia through the Association Noujoum, the event was filled with genuine emotion and shared humanity.
The winners—Rania El Bassim, Khadija Mahroum, and Hafsa Lahou—who made up a proud 100% female podium, received their medals from Soukaina Noceir, Caïda of the Habous district, Yassine Baichou, Caïd of the 2 Mars district, and Khadija Skheir, former athlete, president of Raja Athletics, and vice-president of the Athletics League.
This was not just any race—it was a celebration of sport and community, set against the backdrop of a historic neighborhood glowing under the night sky. A wave of solidarity and strong partnerships made it all possible: Mercure and its City Sport network, committed to making sports more accessible; Green Village, donating a 10,000 MAD check to the Association Noujoum; City Sport, offering gift vouchers worth 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 MAD to the winners; Air Arabia, rewarding the laureates with three flight tickets; ISDIN and Cygne Paris, providing cosmetic gift sets to the first 100 finishers; Sidi Ali, keeping runners hydrated throughout; and Casa Environnement, ensuring a clean and harmonious route.
For ÇAMARCHE and Mercure, this first edition is much more than a sporting success—it is a mission accomplished: highlighting Moroccan women athletes and using sport as a powerful tool to promote our regions, cities, and communities.
