At the beginning of the meeting, and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Glorious Green March, the Secretary-General, on behalf of all members of the Political Bureau, militants, and supporters, extended to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, the party’s highest expressions of congratulations, loyalty, and fidelity.

At the conclusion of its deliberations, the Political Bureau issued the following statement:

First:

The Political Bureau welcomes the historic United Nations Security Council Resolution 2797, which reaffirmed the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative under the Kingdom’s sovereignty as a realistic, pragmatic, and lasting political solution to the artificial regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara.

This resolution reflects the soundness of the clear and consistent vision of Royal diplomacy, wisely led by His Majesty King Mohammed VI for more than twenty-six years, strengthening international recognition of Morocco’s full sovereignty over its southern provinces and reaffirming the legitimacy and fairness of the national cause.

Second:

The Political Bureau expresses its high appreciation for the meeting chaired by His Majesty’s Advisors, held under High Royal Instructions and dedicated to updating and clarifying the content of the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative within the framework of national sovereignty, in accordance with the Royal Decision announced in the Throne Speech of October 31, following the adoption of UNSC Resolution 2797.

Third:

The Political Bureau commends the Royal approach based on consultation and active listening with all national forces, reflecting the Sovereign’s commitment to involving political parties in reflection and the formulation of orientations concerning major national issues, foremost among them the question of territorial integrity.

This approach demonstrates a steadfast national choice built on consensus and unified mobilization in the service of the Nation’s supreme interests.

Fourth:

A committee composed of members of the Political Bureau and the party’s constitutional and administrative law experts has been established to prepare a memorandum detailing the update and practical implementation of the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative.

This document will be submitted to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, contributing to the development of a consolidated national vision on this strategic issue.
