National Airports Office (ONDA): Morocco’s Airports Ready to Welcome CAN 2025 and Fans From Around the World
With less than ten days before the kickoff of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) Total Energies, the National Airports Office has unveiled an institutional spot under the signature “Welcome Football, Welcome Fans” and confirmed that all airports in the Kingdom are fully mobilised to welcome supporters, delegations and teams in the best possible conditions.

“The airports of the Kingdom are on the front line and intend to fully play their role as true gateways to celebrate the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Total Energies in collaboration with the Local Organising Committee and CAF”, stated ONDA in a press release.
Thanks to the human and material investments carried out for over a year to improve capacities, modernise infrastructure, enhance passenger flow and upgrade staff skills, Morocco’s airports, in close coordination with the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of National Security, the Royal Gendarmerie, the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes, and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, are ready to meet the requirements of a major sporting event that will bring together thousands of fans from every continent.
All airports hosting the competition are currently putting in place reinforced organisation to manage the expected flow of passengers. Orientation areas, multilingual signage, mobilised assistance teams and continuous operational monitoring will ensure optimal handling from the moment travellers arrive on Moroccan soil.
CAN 2025 thus offers Morocco an opportunity to demonstrate the efficiency of its aviation ecosystem and reaffirm its role as an African hub.
The “Welcome Football, Welcome Fans” spot instantly invites travellers to step into the festive atmosphere. This spot serves as the guiding thread of the system deployed in the Kingdom’s airports, which includes an immersive pathway where fans will encounter monumental arches, XXL trophies, light tunnels and interactive fan zones.
It sets the tone, creates emotion and generates a welcoming atmosphere that transforms every arrival into a moment of collective celebration.
With this system, ONDA, in collaboration with the Local Organising Committee and CAF, reaffirms its commitment to welcome CAN 2025 in the Kingdom’s airports with strengthened measures and an optimised passenger experience.
“Each arrival will mark the beginning of a sporting, cultural and human adventure that brings together the nations of the continent and their supporters. ‘Airports of Morocco’ welcome the world with the ambition of offering fans a memorable entry into the competition”, the press release concludes.
