Rabat: Abdessamad Kayouh holds talks with the President of Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation
The Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh, held talks on Tuesday in Rabat with the President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Kuwait, Sheikh Hamoud Moubarak Al- Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on ways to strengthen Moroccan-Kuwaiti cooperation in the transport sector, particularly aviation.
On this occasion, Mr. Al-Jaber Al-Sabah highlighted the significant progress achieved by Morocco in the transport sector over a short period of time, whether in land, air or maritime transport, underlining his country’s willingness to continue exchanging expertise with the Kingdom in this important field.
In a statement to the press, the Kuwaiti official stressed the desire of both countries to give fresh momentum to their cooperation in the aviation sector.
For his part, Mr. Kayouh affirmed that these talks provided an opportunity to examine ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation, highlighting the excellence of relations between Morocco and Kuwait across various fields, including transport.
In a similar statement, the minister noted that the frequency of flights between the Kuwaiti capital and Casablanca currently stands at three flights per week, adding that both sides are seeking to double this number, with services operated by Royal Air Maroc and Kuwait Airways.
