AFCON Morocco 2025: “AFRICALLEZ”, the Anthem of Unity
At every Africa Cup of Nations, music accompanies football and extends its emotion beyond the pitch. For the 2025 edition hosted by Morocco from December 21 to January 18, the official song, “AFRICALLEZ”, stands out as one of the tournament’s strongest symbols, blending sporting passion, cultural identity and a powerful message of unity across the continent.

Conceived as a true pan-African anthem, “AFRICALLEZ” brings together three artists from complementary musical worlds: Beninese diva Angélique Kidjo, a global icon of African music; Franco-Moroccan singer Lartiste, a leading figure on urban and international music scenes; and Moroccan singer Jaylane, who represents the Kingdom’s new artistic generation.
Through this collaboration and union, the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco reflects the musical diversity of Africa, bringing together different sensibilities to mirror the cultural richness of a continent whose youth population exceeds 60 percent. The track blends contemporary African sounds, popular rhythms and universal influences, driven by values central to the AFCON: fraternity, solidarity among peoples, African pride and a shared passion for football.
The official song was unveiled during the opening ceremony of AFCON 2025, offering a powerful artistic moment ahead of the kickoff of the tournament’s opening match. On stage, Angélique Kidjo, Lartiste and Jaylane embodied, through their performance, the spirit of unity and celebration that defines this great African football festival.
Beyond its artistic dimension, the anthem accompanies the entire tournament, from stadiums to fan zones, cafés and public spaces. It becomes the soundtrack of a month of intense competition, closely tied to the emotions, achievements and memories that this exceptional Moroccan edition of the Africa Cup of Nations will leave behind.
With this official song, AFCON Morocco 2025 confirms that African football is also lived through culture and music. By bringing together Angélique Kidjo, Lartiste and Jaylane, Morocco and the CAF offer the continent a strong symbol of unity and creativity, reflecting an AFCON that is festive, unifying and proudly African.
