National Ports Agency (ANP): Since its inauguration, the new Casablanca port cruise terminal has welcomed 53 ships and nearly 94,000 passengers
Since its inauguration on September 18, 2025 by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the new cruise terminal at the Port of Casablanca has recorded encouraging momentum, welcoming 53 ships and cruise liners for a total of 93,970 passengers, the National Ports Agency (ANP) said.

In a statement highlighting the first achievements of the new terminal, the ANP noted that these figures illustrate the growing interest of cruise operators in Casablanca and the positive spin offs expected for the local economy and the tourism ecosystem.
The same source said that the operating concession for the terminal was awarded by the ANP to Global Ports Holding (GPH), through the company Casablanca Cruise Port, as of January 1, 2026. GPH is an international benchmark in the management and operation of cruise terminals.
The ANP said that this strategic partnership allows Casablanca to benefit from leading operational expertise and privileged access to the global networks of cruise companies, thereby strengthening the destination’s visibility and attractiveness on international itineraries.
Designed as a true emblematic gateway to the Kingdom, the Casablanca port cruise terminal, which welcomed its first cruise ship on September 26, 2025, offers cruise passengers reception conditions that meet the highest international standards, combining comfort, smooth passenger flows and quality of service, in line with the global standing of the Kingdom’s economic capital, the statement said.
It added that this project fully fits within the national strategy to modernize port infrastructure and develop maritime tourism led by the ANP.
Through this structuring project, the Port of Casablanca reaffirms its ambition to establish itself sustainably as a leading cruise hub on the Atlantic and Mediterranean seaboard, thereby contributing to Morocco’s global profile and the strengthening of its international tourism appeal, the statement concluded.
