Publication of a new issue of the magazine “L’Espace Marocain” of the Royal Air Forces

A new issue of “L’Espace Marocain”, the scientific magazine of the Royal Air Forces (FRA), has just been released, highlighting a wide range of themes, with a special feature entitled “An indivisible Morocco from Tangier to Lagouira: an international consecration”, alongside topics related to the activities of the FRA.

In its editorial, the magazine stresses that “Morocco has just inscribed, in letters of gold, a new major date in its national calendar”, with the celebration, every 31 October, of the Feast of Unity, decreed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, which stands as a key moment of remembrance, gathering and the consecration of national unity.

Under the title “The Feast of Unity: a unifying symbol of the Nation”, the editorialist notes that this celebration takes on a particular resonance in a diplomatic context marked by the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2797. “A major step forward that reinforces the unwavering attachment of Moroccans to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and to national cohesion around this fundamental cause,” it is stated.

Beyond the irreversible anchoring of the Moroccan character of the Sahara in facts and in minds, the Feast of Unity highlights one of Morocco’s great strengths: its ability to combine unity and diversity, tradition and modernity, openness to the world and loyalty to a deeply rooted plural identity.

In the “Royal Activities” section, this 117th issue of the magazine indicates that His Majesty the King inaugurated the Mohammed VI International University Hospital Complex in Rabat and gave His High Instructions for the commissioning of the Mohammed VI University Hospital in Agadir.

It also recalls that the Sovereign presided, on 19 October 2025 at the Royal Palace in Rabat, over a Council of Ministers devoted to examining the general guidelines of the Draft Finance Law for the year 2026, the approval of organic bill projects, two draft decrees relating to the military domain, as well as a set of international agreements and appointments to high offices.

The magazine also returns to the Speech delivered by the Sovereign, on 31 October 2025, at the ceremony of presentation and launch of the works for the Safran group’s “aircraft engines” industrial complex, as well as the opening of the 1st session of the 5th legislative year of the 11th Legislature, all presided over by His Majesty the King, in addition to the ceremony offered by the Sovereign in honor of the members of the national under-20 football team, presided over by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, on 22 October 2025 at the Royal Palace in Rabat, on High Royal Instructions.

Moreover, the special feature of this issue highlights the historical, legal, political and geopolitical dimensions that led to the establishment of Eid Al Wahda.

It notably reviews the scope of Resolution 2797, a true international consecration of the Moroccan vision of autonomy, carried by a Royal diplomacy that is constant, serene and resolutely effective.

This feature also highlights the remarkable results of socio-economic development in the Southern Provinces. These territories have now become growth hubs, levers of regional power and spaces of strategic cooperation, actively contributing to the security and prosperity of the Kingdom.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Green March, the publication draws a natural link between the present and a glorious past. This peaceful epic, still alive in the collective memory, continues to inspire generations and to illustrate Morocco’s strategic ingenuity. A strong tribute is paid to the Royal Air Forces, whose decisive commitment largely contributed to the success of this founding event.

On another level, the magazine looks back at the highlights of national and military news: Royal Activities, international cooperation, ceremonies at the Royal Air School, tributes to Officers retiring in 2025, as well as the combined air-ground exercise “CHERGUI 2025” and the training module on the use of drones within the framework of the “5+5 Defense” initiative.

Finally, four in-depth articles enrich this edition, addressing the rise of the aeronautics industry in Morocco, aviation safety in the light of Annex 19 to the Chicago Convention, the challenges of outsourcing in management, and the central role of communication in effective leadership.
