Morocco’s Lower House Speaker Received by New Chilean President
Santiago - Talbi El Alami, representative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, had an audience in Santiago with the new President of the Republic of Chile, José Antonio Kast.
This audience took place on the sidelines of the official inauguration ceremony of the new Chilean President. It was attended by the Chilean Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francisco Pérez Mackenna, and on the Moroccan side by Ambassador to Santiago Kenza El Ghali.
In a statement to MAP, Talbi El Alami said that this audience provided an opportunity to convey to President José Antonio Kast the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty the King on the occasion of his inauguration as head of the Republic of Chile.
He also emphasized the desire of the Kingdom, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty the King, to work together with Chile to promote and strengthen the excellent ties of friendship uniting the two countries and to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields, in the service of the interests of the two friendly peoples.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI had previously sent a message of congratulations to Kast in which He expressed His warm congratulations, wishing him full success in his noble mission to lead the friendly Chilean people toward the fulfillment of their aspirations for further progress and prosperity.
