Nasser Bourita Takes Part in the 8th Joint Ministerial Meeting Between Morocco and the Gulf Cooperation Council

The meeting, held remotely, brought together the foreign ministers of the GCC member states as well as the Secretary-General of the Council, within the framework of strengthening the strategic partnership linking Morocco to the Gulf countries.

Discussions focused on the state of cooperation relations between the Kingdom and the Council’s member states, as well as ways to further consolidate this partnership in several areas, particularly political, economic, and security cooperation. Participants also addressed major regional and international issues of common interest.

During the meeting, officials reaffirmed the strength of the historic and fraternal relations between Morocco and the Gulf countries, based on mutual respect, political coordination, and convergence of positions on several regional issues.

The ministers also stressed the importance of continuing consultation and coordination between the Kingdom and the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council in order to strengthen regional stability and promote common interests in the face of current challenges.

This eighth ministerial meeting is part of the strategic dialogue mechanism established between Morocco and the GCC countries, aimed at consolidating a lasting partnership and deepening cooperation across various sectors.
