Eid Al-Fitr: Monday, March 23 Declared an Exceptional Holiday in Public Administrations and Local Authorities
On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, it has been decided that work will be exceptionally suspended in state administrations and local authorities on Monday, March 23, the Department of the Head of Government announced.
“On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, it has been decided to suspend work in state administrations and local authorities, on an exceptional basis, on Monday, March 23, 2026, in application of the provisions of Article 3 of Decree No. 2-05-916 of 13 Joumada II 1426 (July 20, 2005), as amended and supplemented,” the department said in a statement.
