Football: Resounding Success for the 5th Edition of the “Late Dr. M’hamed Talal” Ramadan Tournament
In an atmosphere marked by conviviality, fair play and remembrance, the fifth edition of the “Late Dr. M’hamed Talal” Ramadan mini-football tournament concluded on Saturday, March 14, with a spectacular final. This sporting and fraternal event, which has become an essential fixture of the holy month over the years, brought together many enthusiasts around the values of sport, sharing and tribute.

Organized by the Association of Sports Journalists Without Borders, in partnership with the Sidi Othmane District, the tournament once again confirmed its success and its importance within the local sports events calendar.
The final of this fifth edition pitted members of Wydad Athletic Club against the team representing the television channel 2M, in a highly anticipated clash for mini-football fans. At the end of an intense and closely contested match, the 2M team managed to secure victory, winning the trophy of this edition in a festive and warm atmosphere.
Throughout the tournament, the participating teams delivered a high-quality sporting spectacle marked by commitment, solidarity and team spirit. The matches were played in a climate of respect and fraternity, faithful to the spirit of the month of Ramadan and the values that this competition seeks to promote.
Beyond the sporting performance, the tournament is above all a heartfelt tribute to the memory of the late Dr. M’hamed Talal, whose name remains closely associated with journalism and the values of generosity, commitment and passion for sport and media. Through this initiative, the organizers sought to preserve his memory while strengthening ties between actors in the media and sports communities.
