Six Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency-Backed Palestinian Startups to Participate in 4th GITEX Africa

Al-Quds - Six Palestinian startups operating in the fields of creativity and innovation are participating in the fourth edition of GITEX Africa, to be held from April 7 to 9 in Marrakech, with the support of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, under the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

The Agency is taking part in this major event for the third consecutive year, with financial support from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, through an institutional pavilion and a space dedicated to the “BMAQ Innovation Hub” project incubator.

The participating Palestinian companies were selected according to specific criteria developed in collaboration with a specialized team from Al-Quds University.

They cover several specialties, including AI-assisted psychological assessment for career guidance through the “Burhan” platform, as well as the digitization of childcare services and the strengthening of communication between educators and parents via the “GrowApp” application.

These include the “HowAISees” platform, which specializes in using artificial intelligence to enhance the e-commerce and marketing experience, as well as the “Labebo” project, offering innovative solutions in the field of remote treatment and rehabilitation for children through interactive 3D technologies.

Among these startups are also the “QREDIT” platform, which provides digital payment services for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the “Hives 360” system for developing beekeeping and improving productivity through smart monitoring and data analysis.

During the three days of the fair, the Agency’s pavilion will host a series of professional activities, including presentations by participating companies and bilateral meetings with Moroccan and international stakeholders to explore partnership opportunities and market access.

On this occasion, the Agency affirmed that this participation represents a significant opportunity to bolster the role of Palestinian companies in supporting economic and social development, particularly in the city of Al-Quds, in line with the objectives of its 2024-2027 digital strategy.

This strategy, launched under the theme “Digital Development in the Service of Economic and Social Development in Al-Quds,” which notably includes the Morocco House platform in Al-Quds to document and protect the city’s human heritage, the incubator for Palestinian startups in the fields of innovation and creativity, the “Dlala” social and solidarity-based e-commerce platform, the distance learning platform with Al-Quds University, as well as the “Haya” gaming and entertainment app, designed for children and teenagers.

To date, some 34 Palestinian startups have benefited from the Agency’s incubator programs, some of which have successfully reached the acceleration and partnership phases, while others have been able to access the market.
