Rabat: New version of the “Chikaya” platform launched to improve health services

The modernization project for the digital platform “Chikaya Santé,” accessible through the portal www.chikayasante.ma, was launched on Monday in Rabat. This initiative is based on the creation of an integrated national system dedicated to receiving and processing complaints related to health services across the country.

The system notably includes a national call center supported by advanced digital tools that allow accurate and efficient monitoring of citizens’ complaints.

The project is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the complaint management system in the health sector, with the goals of strengthening transparency, reinforcing user confidence and better responding to their expectations, in line with the directives of Mohammed VI aimed at deeply reforming the national healthcare system.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of Health and Social Protection Amine Tahraoui said the new version will allow complaints related to health services in both the public and private sectors to be submitted through several channels: digital platform, telephone, WhatsApp application, SMS and email.

Complaints will be handled according to their nature, with rapid treatment for simple cases, while more complex files will be subject to in-depth follow-up. The objective is to ensure better communication with users and improve service quality.

The system adopts a multichannel approach that facilitates access and simplifies procedures. It relies on advanced treatment and monitoring mechanisms, with a dedicated team responsible for receiving, classifying and directing complaints until their resolution.

This initiative aims to strengthen the quality of complaint management through an approach based on listening, data analysis and responsiveness, while also contributing to better decision-making in the management of the healthcare system.

In the long term, the system is expected to improve transparency, speed up complaint processing and enhance service quality, while supporting the digital transformation of Morocco’s health sector.
