Presentation of a draft law on the reorganization of the National Press Council before the Committee on Education, Cultural and Social Affairs at the House of Councillors

This draft law is part of a reformist vision aimed at strengthening good governance, ensuring the independence and efficiency of the Council, enabling it to keep pace with the rapid changes in the media and communication sector, and consolidating the place of the national press as a fourth estate founded on professionalism, responsibility and respect for ethics.

It therefore represents a new legislative step towards enhancing the role of the press in supporting the democratic process in Morocco and affirming it as a free space for responsible and constructive public debate.
