According to a statement from the House of Representatives, this visit, along with the meetings scheduled with Finnish officials, aims to strengthen bilateral parliamentary relations and promote the exchange of experiences and expertise in various fields.
It also seeks to explore ways of consolidating coordination within international parliamentary bodies and to establish a permanent dialogue between the two legislative institutions, particularly on matters of common interest.
The Speaker of the Finnish Parliament had previously paid a working visit to Morocco in May 2024. During that visit, he and the accompanying delegation held talks with the Speaker of the House of Representatives and several Moroccan officials, and carried out field visits to learn more about the major projects undertaken by the Kingdom under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Alongside Mr. Talbi El Alami, the Moroccan delegation includes Mohamed Chaouki, President of the National Rally of Independents group, and Rachid Hammouni, President of the Progress and Socialism group.
