The Observatory stresses that such actions have nothing to do with freedom of expression or the right to peaceful protest. On the contrary, they fall under the category of criminal acts and serious excesses, which can in no way be justified.
It recalls that understanding and solidarity with the youth must never be confused with legitimizing destructive behavior, which often aligns with external attempts to undermine the security and stability of the Kingdom. The Observatory further notes that, in recent months, certain hostile parties have intensified their infiltration efforts through cyberattacks, the spread of malicious rumors, and campaigns aimed at discrediting security and sovereign institutions, as part of a coordinated destabilization plan.
Accordingly, the Observatory:
- firmly condemns these criminal acts and strongly denounces them;
- calls for the strict application of the law in response to any form of security breach;
- reaffirms its full support for the security forces in their mission to protect lives and property;
- urges Moroccan youth not to succumb to calls for destruction and chaos, but instead to engage responsibly in the peaceful expression of their legitimate demands, in full respect of the law and national institutions.
