In the final statement issued at the conclusion of their talks, the foreign ministers of the GCC countries and the European Union expressed their support “for the work of the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI,” emphasizing in this regard “the importance of preserving the historical and legal status of Al-Quds and its holy sites.”
The meeting also reiterated its support for a just and lasting resolution of the Palestinian issue through the two-state solution, the statement stressed.
