HM King Mohammed VI Calls for Harmony Between Major National Projects and Social Programs

True to his vision of a strong, fair, and balanced Morocco, the Sovereign reaffirmed the need for full synergy between the Kingdom’s major structural projects and its social programs. He emphasized that economic development and social justice are not opposing goals but complementary paths leading to the same destination: building a modern and inclusive Morocco that serves all its citizens.

Before members of both Houses of Parliament, the King urged public actors to move beyond fragmented approaches: “There must be no contradiction or competition between major national projects and social programs, as their common goal is one and the same: the development of the country and the improvement of citizens’ living conditions.”

With these words, the Monarch reaffirmed the importance of structural harmony between ambitious economic policies—such as major infrastructure works, strategic investments, and structural reforms—and social initiatives that promote equity and inclusion.

Better Communication for Better Service to Citizens

One of the central messages of the Royal Speech focused on institutional communication. His Majesty called for stronger efforts to share information about public policies and legislative decisions, ensuring that every citizen is informed, involved, and engaged in the nation’s progress.

The Sovereign made it clear that this responsibility does not rest solely on the government: “It also involves parliamentarians, political parties, elected officials, the media, and civil society.”

This inclusive approach seeks to strengthen trust between the State and its citizens by placing transparency and political education at the heart of Morocco’s social contract. It reflects a comprehensive vision of development where economic growth and social justice advance hand in hand, grounded in the dignity of every Moroccan.

A Royal Vision for the Future: Development, Equity, and National Cohesion

Through this address, His Majesty King Mohammed VI outlined a clear roadmap for the future. Morocco must continue along the path of measured modernity, ensuring that every economic, social, or institutional project contributes to the same national dynamic.

Relying on its achievements and institutional stability, the Kingdom is called to strengthen a balanced development model that combines performance, solidarity, and humanism.

By emphasizing the importance of seriousness in public action and unity in national goals, the Royal Speech of October 10, 2025, stands as a strategic roadmap for the years ahead, calling for collective mobilization in service of a strong, fair, and prosperous Morocco.

The King also underscored the shared responsibility of all national institutions in the success of this collective project. He urged representatives of the nation, political parties, elected officials, the media, and civil society to act with seriousness, discipline, and accountability, defending citizens’ legitimate causes and turning their expectations into tangible action.

Transparency and institutional communication were again central to His Majesty’s message. He called for greater clarity and public understanding of initiatives led by public authorities, particularly those that directly affect citizens’ rights and interests. According to the Sovereign, this effort is vital to strengthening trust between the State and its people and fostering broad support for the Kingdom’s major national reforms.

Through this new guiding speech, His Majesty King Mohammed VI reaffirmed his humanist and pragmatic vision of development—one that balances economic growth, social equity, and territorial cohesion. A vision that places the individual at the heart of every strategy and once again confirms Morocco’s enlightened leadership in building a harmonious, prosperous, and united future.
