This achievement surpasses the previous record set in 2019 by the British association Equal Playing Field, which had gathered players from 53 nationalities in one match.
The exhibition game took place on the indoor pitch of the Mohammed VI Football Complex and brought together FIFA staff from various divisions, particularly the Member Associations division, which oversees development programs.
Covering an area of 29.3 hectares, the Mohammed VI Football Complex boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure and equipment that meet FIFA’s highest standards, making it one of the most advanced football centers in the world. Since last July, it has also hosted the headquarters of FIFA’s Africa Office.
