The Minister, accompanied by the Wali of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, inaugurated a historical exhibition retracing, through images and archives, the major stages of the Green March. The exhibition notably features a collection of photographs taken by Arab photographers who captured the remarkable rise of Dakhla and the Southern Provinces, which have now become a national model of stability, modernity, and cultural vitality.
A highlight of the visit was the inauguration of the Regional Institute of Music and Choreographic Art, a major project worth 23 million dirhams, designed to train 300 young talents in musical and choreographic arts. This institute represents a decisive step toward democratizing access to culture and promoting creative industries, with Dakhla now positioning itself as an emerging hub in this field.
In the same spirit of investment in youth, the Minister also launched construction works for the new Dakhla Youth Camp, with a budget of 61.5 million dirhams. Built on a 33,000 m² site, this next-generation facility will, within 18 months, offer modern infrastructure meeting the highest standards in hospitality, training, and recreational programming.
Through these initiatives, Morocco reaffirms that the Green March was not only a historic act, but also an enduring vision—one that continues to grow and take shape through concrete projects carrying the promise of progress, dignity, and opportunity for future generations.
