This series of diplomatic meetings reflects the ongoing momentum of Morocco’s bilateral relations and the confidence placed in the Kingdom by its international partners.
The ambassadors received were:
- Lincoln George Downer, the new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Jamaica, residing in Abuja, who presented the documents confirming his accreditation to His Majesty the King.
- Mekan Ishangulyyev, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan, residing in Ankara, received on the occasion of the presentation of his letters of credence.
- Ahmed Sareer, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives, residing in Riyadh, who formally launched his diplomatic mission to Morocco.
- Alexander Chkuaseli, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia, residing in Madrid, received to submit his letters of credence to His Majesty the King.
- Adriana Bolaños Argueta, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Costa Rica, also residing in Madrid, who presented the certified copies of her letters of credence.
- Sisira Senavirathne, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Sri Lanka, residing in Cairo, who proceeded with the official presentation of his letters of credence.
These diplomatic meetings were an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of relations between Morocco and each of the represented nations, along with the shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in various sectors, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
With this new wave of diplomatic accreditations, the Kingdom continues to advance its engagement toward broader partnerships with regions across the world, based on mutual respect, consultation and constructive cooperation.
