The 17th edition of MEDays 2025, held in Tangier under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, concluded this Saturday, November 29, after four days of intense debates and high-level meetings. Among the prominent international figures who marked this edition was Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, former U.S. Ambassador and an influential voice in American diplomacy.
An American Perspective on Global Challenges
Speaking during two major sessions, Ambassador Abercrombie-Winstanley first took part in a roundtable dedicated to the evolution of U.S. foreign policy under the Trump administration. She then addressed a highly strategic theme: the reshaping of the Middle East, the emergence of a new regional order, and its future prospects.
She emphasized the importance of these issues for Morocco, while reminding that any political or diplomatic achievement comes with significant responsibilities:
“Even when it is a major victory for Morocco, it still brings a substantial challenge: fully integrating the population into society and economic life. This is a key responsibility for all governments.”
