Tourism: Morocco Passes the Symbolic Threshold of 18 Million Visitors Even Before the End of the Year

According to the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, this spectacular rise reflects a 13.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year. This performance crowns the efforts deployed under the 2023-2026 Roadmap, focused on strengthening air connectivity, boosting international promotion and continuously enriching and diversifying the national tourism offer.

This momentum highlights the effectiveness of the strategies implemented and the growing attractiveness of Morocco on the global tourism scene.

Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor noted in the statement that these achievements “reflect the considerable progress made under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and showcase the tremendous potential of destination Morocco”.

She added that the Kingdom is “on the right path to closing the year on a high note”, particularly thanks to the expected impact of hosting the AFCON, which is set to attract an exceptional influx of visitors in December.
